Telecom Auditing Procedures

Telecom audit

Each telecom contract, telecom invoice and customer service record is reviewed and manually entered into an Excel spreadsheet to build a baseline, often referred to as a "Book of Business", of all telecom expenses. The book of business is then analyzed by professional telecom auditors, who then present a detailed audit report that will clearly detail billing errors. The telecom audit report should also include recommendations of actions that they will take to correct the telecom billing errors, along with what steps can be performed to recover historical telecom overcharges.

We believe pre-established baseline of telecom expense will build a trusting relationship because the cost of a telecom expense is established prior to any phone bill overcharge recovery or cost reduction actions are taken. The telecom audit is ongoing until your telecom invoices reflect that the errors have been corrected and telecom cost reduction has been achieved.

Telecom industry experts report that up to 80% of all telecom bills have some type of phone service bill error and these errors will continue to drain your budget until actions are taken to stop them.

Outsourcing a telecom audit can be conducted on a contingency basis, by a set hourly consulting rate or based on the amount of telecom expense and number of invoices audited.

Why Outsource a Telecom Audit?

Telecom carriers are not proactive on detecting and correcting telecom billing errors; if they were telecom auditors would not conduct a telecom audit on a contingency fee basis.
Complex telecom contracts are standard no matter the size of your business, we have analyzed and negotiated telecom contracts for over 10 years, the ability to breakdown telecom contract pricing and validate it to a telecom service provider bill is invaluable.
